Congratulations Catherine who has been chosen as the Bring It On CrossFitter of the Month for September 2017! “Member of the Month is awarded to an individual that has shown a determination throughout the month to improve their health. The member has come in and dedicated themselves 100% to the workout listed on the board. We have members of all ability levels, so the member of the month has shown great improvements in their own work capacity. They are team players and motivate others to work hard and achieve their goals by having a positive influence on the Bring It On CrossFit community around them.” Catherine has been making huge strides forward in her training over the last 5-6 months! Through our last 8 week challenge and now competing in local CrossFit comps she has come a long way! Catherine is also one of our more committed and determined members, now stringing together multiple pull ups and her Olympic weightlifting technique Is looking very efficient! Well done Catherine on all the hard work you have been putting in, the results are really starting to show! Here's a little background on how Catherine got started at Bring It On CrossFit.... "I had been going to a gym in Melbourne after work and enjoyed doing the various classes on offer but I wasn't really seeing the results I wanted, and the extra time travelling to and from the city was taking away time spent with the family. My partner told me about Crossfit and encouraged me to find a box close to home. Once I attended the Saturday free try out class I was instantly hooked. The variety in the workouts, the feeling of support and encouragement from the community, and the sense of achievement you feel after each workout is what drives me to keep coming back. Crossfit has allowed me to be consistent with my exercise, get the results I have been searching for, and improve my overall health and well being whilst having fun." Congratulations Catherine and keep up the good work!

Lou is one of our more consistent, and determined members, two attributes which are critical in making very strong crossfitter! Well done Lou and keep up the great work! Here is some great advice from Lou..."Try and not worry about what everyone else in the gym is doing and focus on yourself". Always with a positive attitude and smile, Bree has shown all of the above and more coming in each day, taking on whatever workout and challenge is on the board. It has been great to see Bree's progress, especially recently with regards to her kipping pull ups, which she has been stringing together really efficiently. Now a regular at the 5:15am time slot nothing seems to slow her down as she attacks every workout and challenge head on. She is also not one to shy away from providing WOD feedback post workout, letting us know every time if she has loved it or hated it! Congratulations Bree and keep up the good work! Congratulations Justin who has been chosen as the Bring It On CrossFitter of the Month for June 2017. Justin has been one of our awesome 8 week challenge team which is finishing up this week! He is a very committed and determined athlete at the box and has been for the past 8 weeks with his nutrition and training! Setting out at the start of the challenge to be able to string muscle ups together, (he was doing this in weeks 2 or 3) and now stringing them together, making huge progress in such a short time, Justin is actually making them look easy!! The hard work he has been putting in with his skill work and mobility are definitely paying off so well done mate! Congratulations Justin and keep up the good work! |
