Congratulations Christie who has been chosen as the Bring It On CrossFitter of the Month for May 2018. “Member of the Month is awarded to an individual that has shown a determination throughout the month to improve their health. The member has come in and dedicated themselves 100% to the workout listed on the board. We have members of all ability levels, so the member of the month has shown great improvements in their own work capacity. They are team players and motivate others to work hard and achieve their goals by having a positive influence on the Bring It On CrossFit community around them.” Having only started training with us in February this year Christie has already become one of our regulars in the AM group and has made great strides forward in her technique and overall fitness. She is a very determined and is up for any challenge that is written on the board. Throughout May she attended 23 classes which is amazing and her consistency is definitely paying off! This is what Christie had to say when we asked her about what/who inspires her: "People who go out there and do what they want, try new things and challenge themselves. I love watching everyone at the ‘Box’ kicking goals!! Just seeing some of the regulars lifting their weights and smashing their WOD’s is so inspirational. The motivation that everyone has for each other to achieve the best they can is so positive. There is such a community and ‘family’ vibe and it is great to be a part of." Congratulations Zaneta who has been chosen as the Bring It On CrossFitter of the Month for April 2018. “Member of the Month is awarded to an individual that has shown a determination throughout the month to improve their health. They are team players and motivate others to work hard and achieve their goals by having a positive influence on the Bring It On CrossFit community around them.” Zee has been one of our most consistent and regular members over the last couple of months attending an impressive 18 classes in the last 30 days! I have been very impressed at her incredible efforts during the very challenging Diggers Oath 2 day comp, competing along side Coach Grace and placing pretty competitively. She is always willing to take on what ever challenge is put on the board and has a very positive attitude towards her training. I am looking forward to seeing Zee smash the Six Week Slay and the rest of 2018! Congratulations Zee and keep up the good work! They are team players and motivate others to work hard and achieve their goals by having a positive influence on the Bring It On CrossFit community around them.” Over the past couple of months Ollie has made amazing progress across all aspects of his training. Week to week through out the Open Ollie has continually showed that anything is possible. It was great to watch to him compete in his first Open, getting his first ring muscle up and also through the that final workout where he was only required to do Jumping pull ups but instead decided to set himself a higher standard and crushed the chest to bar pull ups every rep! I am still amazed at how well he is able to do strict toes to bar and strict bar muscle ups and I am looking forward to seeing Ollie continue to develop those skills and see his full CrossFit potential! Here is some advice from Ollie if your looking at getting started at Bring It On CrossFit... "Give it a go! Nothing is more satisfying than completing the daily WOD and everyone at the Box is here to help each other improve." Congratulations Ollie and keep up the good work! Congratulations Mandy who has been chosen as the Bring It On CrossFitter of the Month for February 2018. “Member of the Month is awarded to an individual that has shown a determination throughout the month to improve their health. They are team players and motivate others to work hard and achieve their goals by having a positive influence on the Bring It On CrossFit community around them.” Mandy has been a very consistent and enjoyable athlete to coach since joining Bring It On CrossFit. She takes on advice, listens and has shown great improvement in her technique for doing so. Encouraging her daughter, Eliza, to come along regularly as well is awesome and sets a fantastic example for her health and fitness in the future. Mandy also was one of the team that took on the 23km bush walk which was a great achievement! Mandy has been one of our regular members at all of our out of box activities.
