Congratulations Tess who is the Bring It On CrossFitter of the Month for August 2016.
"Member of the Month is awarded to an individual that has shown a determination throughout the month to improve their health. The member has come in and dedicated themselves 100% to the workout listed on the board. We have members of all ability levels, so the member of the month has shown great improvements in their own work capacity. They are team players and motivate others to work hard and achieve their goals by having a positive influence on the Bring It On CrossFit community around them." Tess has been training with us for a while now and has been deserving of this award many times! She is one of our dedicated 6am'ers at the box 5 days a week, every week, which in itself is an amazing effort! Tess has had a few injurie set backs recently but has continued to move forward with her health and fitness by modifying where she needs to and really taking the time to focus on her technique and quality of movement. It has been great to have Tess as a regular during the week and at BIOCF In House comps and we are looking forward to seeing her potential as an athlete with us in the future. Tess has also been a great advocate for Bring It On CrossFit encouraging her friends and family to come along and give CrossFit a go and we are very thankful for this. Congratulations Tess and keep up the good work!

Congratulations Archie Keating who is the Bring It On CrossFit Member of the Month for July 2016!

Archie has not missed a class throughout July (mainly thanks to his Mum and Dad, who are both regulars at BIOCF) and has been a great leader within the CrossFit Kids classes. He is always very enthusiastic to give any of the workouts and skills a go and is always first hand up to help demonstrate exercises to the class. A huge positive I have noticed in the last month has been his patience during the WOD portion of our class, making sure he gets the movements right rather than rushing through just to finishing first. Archie listens and takes instruction very well, and is a pleasure to coach as he seems to never tire and is always full of energy before, during and after class!! Over the past 2-3 months Ian has made some positive changes to his diet and the progress he has made during this time have been amazing. The hard work he has been putting in and the consistency he has shown with his effort at training are second to none. Ian has also been recovering from surgery over the past few months and has continued to improve and get stronger through his rehab which is no easy task! I would also like to thank Ian for all the advice and assistance he has freely provided to help promote and market Bring It On CrossFit, spreading the word about our great Community! Congratulations mate and keep up the good work! |
