Congratulations Scott Mahon who has been chosen as the Bring It On CrossFitter of the Month for October 2017. “Member of the Month is awarded to an individual that has shown a determination throughout the month to improve their health. The member has come in and dedicated themselves 100% to the workout listed on the board. We have members of all ability levels, so the member of the month has shown great improvements in their own work capacity. They are team players and motivate others to work hard and achieve their goals by having a positive influence on the Bring It On CrossFit community around them.” Scotty has been training at BIOCF for as long as I have, being our very first member of the year back in 2012! He has had a few injuries but has managed to recover and continue to train on a regular basis which is a fantastic effort. I wish I could get him to do more mobility but his resilience is incredible. Scott is also one of our regulars at social events, comps, and Sunday Fundays, getting enjoyment out of being part of this amazing community of athletes! Here is something you might not know about Scott that may surprise you... "I've walked the whole length of the London Bridge at the Port Campbell National Park before it collapsed in 1990. I've snorkelled, dragonboat raced, white water rafted and tried surfing and I can't even swim" Congratulations Scott and keep up the good work!
