It is better to train with mates, that’s a given, and if you do end up talking them into trying CrossFit we are fairly sure that they will enjoy it as much as you do. To recognize our member’s loyalty and passion for what we do, we are starting up a referral program to THANK YOU! For any person a member joins you will receive your choice of 1 x One on One PT Session or your next 2 x Weeks FREE membership at Bring It On CrossFit! Ashley and myself are very happy to introduce Aaron Hamill as the new regular coach at Bring It On CrossFit! Aaron has been training and (helping coach) at BIOCF for a while now and will no doubt be an asset to our coaching team. Aaron will be taking the Monday and Wednesday 6am classes starting next week with more classes to come. Aaron is a very dedicated, passionate and knowledgeable coach and we are looking forward to having him on board! Here is a little bit about Aaron: "Hi guys as most of you may know me, My name is Aaron. Here is a bit of back ground on myself, I had involvement in numerous team sports as a young kid and always enjoyed the community aspect attached to it. I was always drawn towards the Gym environment but preferred variation in my programming to keep me motivated and keeping on top of my goal. There was a time in my early to mid-twenties where my fitness dropped, but being a person that strives for reaching full potential I discovered Martial Arts in the form of Muay Thai and then I transferred over to Brazilian Jui-Jitsu and Mixed Martial arts which soon became my passion, I got a massive buzz being in a club environment and competing. Spending around 3 years travelling Australian and Europe I still kept a reasonably consistent Martial Arts routine but I had a grand plan to take it back up regularly on my return to Geelong. Looking at incorporating a Strength and Conditioning program into my routine in 2012 I came across the then known as “BIO Fitness”, I was exposed for the first time to programming that incorporated functional fitness principles and varying formats. I was “Hooked” on this style of training and an interest in the fitness industry grew as a career grew, I became thirsty for knowledge so I started doing my fitness qualifications and joined a Crossfit affiliate. I gained valuable skills and knowledge taking bootcamp classes but Crossfit Trainer was what I was chasing, I Love all the different disciplines that Crossfit incorporates. The technical aspects of Olympic Weightlifting is a favourite of mine and I feel I have a good eye for detail in this area. I Have always had great respect for Jared as a trainer and the community he was building in the earlier days so I always had some sort of connection to BIO community doing the odd Training Sessions, attending Christmas parties etc. Coming back to bring It on Crossfit in 2014 as a member and being able to take some classes has been a great move for me as a trainer and now I’m lucky enough to have my own regular classes and help take Bring it On Crossfit to the next level." Aaron's Qualifications include: Studying Diploma of Fitness 2015 Certificate 3 and 4 Fitness Crossfit level 1 Trainer Level 2 first Aid Cert 4 Training and Assessment
