Congratulations Sonya who has been chosen as the Bring It On CrossFitter of the Month for January 2019. “Member of the Month is awarded to an individual that has shown a determination throughout the month to improve their health. The member has come in and dedicated themselves 100% to the workout listed on the board. We have members of all ability levels, so the member of the month has shown great improvements in their own work capacity. They are team players and motivate others to work hard and achieve their goals by having a positive influence on the Bring It On CrossFit community around them.” Sonya has had a fantastic start to 2019, having attended 23 classes in only the first month of the year! Although she has had to deal with some injuries in that time, Sonya has adjusted the workouts and continues to show up and train with great intensity and purpose. She is always great to have as part of the BIOCF family, being a member here for almost 4 years now! Sonya is also a regular at the 9:30am Weightlifting classes on Saturdays showing a strong desire to work on and improve her Oly Lifting! Congratulations Sonya and keep up the good work! Here are some words of advice for those looking at starting CrossFit from Sonya herself: "Join with a friend and give it 6 Months."

For those who are unaware, Aimee is highly vision impaired however I would not be surprised if you did not know this as she shows no hesitation when it comes to taking on all workouts up on the whiteboard and is capable of most, if not everything the coaches program for her! Aimee is truly an inspiring and remarkable athlete and we are proud to have her training at BIOCF! Congratulations Aimee and keep up the good work! Here is some great advice from Aimee for all those looking to get started at Bring It On CrossFit: "Don’t think you need to be a certain level of fit to start! Just come along and give it a go! The first class I did I couldn’t believe the energy and everyone was so helpful and welcoming" Congratulations Luzie who has been chosen as the Bring It On CrossFitter of the Month for November 2018. “Member of the Month is awarded to an individual that has shown a determination throughout the month to improve their health. She has also made great progress since she started and has picked up coaching points and movement technique very quickly. Luzie is a pleasure to coach and asks questions which is vital in improving and understanding what is required to become a stronger, fitter and more well-rounded athlete. Congratulations Luzie and keep up the good work! Congratulations Lisa who has been chosen as the Bring It On CrossFitter of the Month for October 2018. “Member of the Month is awarded to an individual that has shown a determination throughout the month to improve their health. Lisa has been putting in some extra time when she can and has been coming into training with a very positive mindset which is a great strength. Lisa has made some impressive progress recently which is fantastic and it is great to see that she is always trying to challenge and push herself to be the best athlete she can be. Lisa is one of the hardest working athletes and I have no doubt she will knock off any goal that she sets herself! Here are some words from Lisa about getting started at Bring It On CrossFit: "Just give it a go! Don’t worry about age or level of fitness. I am so glad I started because it’s a great supportive community and I love the challenge of each WOD and skills training. It is a great feeling to achieve something you never thought possible."
