ABOUT US & OUR TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

Bring It On CrossFit is a specialized CrossFit & Strength and Conditioning training facility, based in North Geelong and is owned and operated by Jared who has been involved in the sporting and fitness industry for the majority of his life.
Bring It On CrossFt specializes in high quality small group classes so that we maintain a high quality personal coaching approach in the group setting environment. We have group classes’ everyday of the week to provide our members with as much opportunity to train as possible. All our coaches are highly qualified, experienced and dedicated to providing our athletes with the most current and highest quality Strength & Conditioning Program’s and nutritional advice. Our coaches are incredibly committed and reliable, always available to help and guide our members through every step of their Fitness journey. At Bring It On CrossFit we believe that whatever you participate in life, having fun is essential. That’s why we have created a community that is encouraging, fun and welcoming for everyone to participate in fitness training.

Our approach (The ‘CrossFit’ Approach) to strength & conditioning emphasizes fundamental functional movements that we use in everyday life through constantly varied workouts that combine body-weight gymnastic movements, weightlifting and cardio exercises. Our workouts are designed to incorporate running, rowing and skipping all fast and hard. We bring together basic and advanced gymnastic movements including push-ups, pull ups, sit ups, knees to elbows, burpees and more, with Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting and throwing movements to develop real strength and optimum fitness. We promote clean, paleo/primal eating principals to enhance our members training performance and body composition results, and we do all this within our incredibly welcoming community of Bring It On CrossFitters. All of our workouts are completely scalable meaning everyone from your grandmother to an army officer can participate!

The atmosphere in our gym is OUR BIGGEST STRENGTH & ASSET and is one of teamwork, support and camaraderie. We offer a regular program of special events to our athletes including technique clinics, in-house CrossFit competitions, 6 & 8 Week Nutrition Challenges, Social Nights and more.

Our Goals:
1.      To provide a high level, enjoyable and effective strength & conditioning program to our members.
2.      To help members of all levels fulfill their own personal Health & Fitness goals
3.      To maintain our personal coaching approach in classes that are capped at 15 people.
4.      Promote Healthy Eating and Activity for Kids through our Little Ninjas program.

Philosophy:
​We believe in fun. We believe that, to be effective in a long-term sense, exercise has to be enjoyable. It has to be creative. We are the shift into a healthier, active life. That responsibility means introducing clients to new activities, making them comfortable with working out in any environment, and giving them attributes they can display with pride. We believe in hard work.  Our own hard work will be recognized by our clients and friends, and will encourage them to work harder in the face of challenge.  We believe in functional exercise using body weight or free weights.  We believe exercise can happen anywhere, at any time.   We train movements, not muscles.
We believe in the long haul.  Continual progress is necessary for self-actualization; if you’re not moving ahead, you’re falling behind.  We set milestones and celebrate when they’re reached.  And then we reach further.
We don’t take ourselves too seriously.  We’re comfortable in our skills, and can joke about our weaknesses.  It’s always easier when you’re the best!
We believe that it’s just as important to train for a canoe trip as a triathlon.  Proper, smart preparedness increases the satisfaction derived from any activity, including mental preparation.
We believe in science.  We believe in ongoing education.  We’re committed to the peer review process, the application of cutting-edge science, the debunking of myths, and the benefits of active debate and discussion.
